Tainted Love

Sammy stroked his hair. "It'll be okay Lennon."

"Na-uh," Lennon said, sighing. "You heard what I said earlier..."

Sammy nodded. "I know, I know."

Lennon frowned, running a hand through his hair, muttering something.

Sammy pulled Lennon close to her.

"About Trevor..." Lennon said quietly. "He's um..." He said, trailing off nervously.

"He's what?" asked Sammy.

"Nothing." Lennon said quickly, lowering his head so his hair hid his face.

"Len," said Sammy softly.

"He...he's hurt me in more than one way..." Lennon said quietly, glad his face was still hidden.

"What did he do to you Lennon?" Sammy asked.

"Things I've already been through..." Lennon mumbled. "And...um...other things..."

Sammy stroked Lennon's hair. "What 'other things'?"

Lennon made a nervous sound, hugging his knees closer to his chest.

"Lennon, you can tell me, I won't say a word to your daddy if you don't want me to," said Sammy.

"It's...not that..." Lennon said quietly.

"What then?" Sammy asked

Lennon sighed, slowly looking up at Sammy. "He-he's...tried to..." Lennon whispered, a pained look in his eyes.

Sammy kept stroking Lennon's hair. "Take your time sweetie."

Lennon whimpered nervously, leaning against her more, trying not to get upset.

"I'm right here Lennon, I've got you," said Sammy gently. "I'm gonna keep you safe, just like always."

"I...I know..." Lennon said quietly. "I should have told you when it happened...but..." He trailed off, a frightened sob escaping.

"Shhhhhhh," said Sammy, rubbing Lennon's back.

"He...tried to make me do things I didn't want to..." Lennon said, barely louder than a whisper.

Sammy sighed softly. "Lennon sweetie...."
