Tainted Love

Adam went to carefully lift Lennon out of the car, swearing when Lennon just hung there in his arms. "S-Sammy..." He said, worried.

Sammy bit her lip. "He'll be alright," said Sammy. "He'll be alright."

Adam gave a small nod, staring to walk towards the hospital.

Sammy followed, seeing Monte waiting with a group of nurses at the door

Adam gave Monte a small smile as he reached them before looking down at Lennon, who had his eyes slightly open.

Monte took Lennon's hand while Sammy explained things to one of the nurses.

"Monte...?" Lennon mumbled, trying to find him, lifting his head a little to look up at him.

Monte squeezed Lennon's hand. "Right here Len."

Lennon gave a weak smile, trying to squeeze Monte's hand back.

"It's gonna be okay," said Monte. "It'll be okay."

Lennon nodded, sighing and closing his eyes again.

Monte followed while the nurses led the group to a room.

Adam stayed silent as they walked, the look on his face the one he usually had when he was being stubborn and trying not to cry.

Sammy kept one arm around Adam.

Adam bit his lip, staring down at Lennon.

"He'll be okay," said Sammy. "They'll take care of him."

"I...I know..." Adam said quietly, sounding scared.

Sammy kissed his cheek

Adam gave a small smile, though it was forced.

Sammy stood back, watching the nurses.

Once Adam had put Lennon down, he moved over to Sammy, biting his lip again.

Sammy moved closer to Adam, burying her face in his shoulder.

Adam slowly turned and wrapped his arms around Sammy, holding her close.

Monte stayed by the bed, holding Lennon's hand.

Lennon coughed as he came to again, blinking a few times before slowly opening his eyes.
