Tainted Love

Monte squeezed Lennon's hand.

"W-What's going on...?" Lennon asked quietly, out of it.

"Just relax Len," said Monte softly.

Lennon frowned, worrying. He assumed being told to relax meant something bad was happening, but couldn't think clearly.

"Everything's gonna be okay," Monte told Lennon.

"B-But I'm..." Lennon went to say 'scared', but drifted out of conciousness again.

Monte whimpered softly.

Adam hugged Sammy tighter as he watched, starting to shows signs of how upset he was through his stubborness.

Sammy hugged Adam back. She kept her face burrowed into Adam, not wanting to see Lennon this way.

Adam reached a hand up, slowly stroking her hair.

Sammy relaxed slightly

Adam kept stroking Sammy's hair, figuring at least one of them should be somewhat calm.

Sammy looked up at Adam, tears brimming her eyes.

"Sammy..." Adam sighed sadly, a pained look on his face.

Sammy just hugged Adam tighter.

Adam sighed before muttering quietly to himself.

Sammy closed her eyes to stop the tears.

Adam moved to lean against the wall, holding Sammy close.

Monte watched the nurses trying to help Lennon.

Adam looked back over at them, hugging Sammy tighter.

"He's strong," said Sammy. "He'll be okay."

"I-I know..." Adam said quietly. "Doesn't mean I'm going to stop worrying though..."

Sammy nodded. "I know."

"What if he...?" Adam said quietly, unable to stop himself worrying.

"Don't," said Sammy.
