Tainted Love

Bradley sat up properly, looking at Lennon suspiciously.

"What's his problem?" Lennon asked Monte.

Monte sighed. "He knows about.....everything."

"Oh..." Lennon said, staring down at the floor. "Not the most recent part though?"

Monte shook his head. "No, not yet."

"That explains the look I'm getting then..." Lennon sighed.

Monte reached over and took Lennon's hand, squeezing it gently. "I forgave you, that's all that matters."

Lennon smiled at Monte. "You know...I almost thought you wouldn't..." He admitted quietly.

"I'll always forgive you," said Monte. "You're my brother."

"Yeah, I know...but after what I'd done the other day..." Lennon sighed.

Monte shook his head. "And what I did was any better?"

"No...not really..." Lennon said quietly. "But look what happened because of it..." He added, referring to the fact that they were speaking again.

Monte nodded.

Lennon smiled, moving his chair closer, laying his head and arms on the bed.

Bradley pulled a face, looking down at him.

"Bradley, baby stop it," said Monte.

"Why?" Bradley asked quietly. "He's hurt you..."

"He apologized baby," said Monte. "I forgave him."

"Oh..." Bradley said, leaning over to poke Lennon's arm.

Monte smiled, playing with Bradley's hair.

"Hey..." Lennon said, chuckling as Bradley continued poking him.

Bradley smiled, eventually stopping, laying on Monte.

Monte smiled at Bradley. "Comfy baby?"

"Uh-huh." Bradley nodded, closing his eyes.

"Rest baby, I'll be here," said Monte.

"Kay..." Bradley muttered, slowly drifting off.

Monte smiled, turning to Lennon.

Lennon sat up, poking Monte's shoulder. "That's for him poking me..."
