Tainted Love

"There's that smile I love so much," said Monte.

Bradley blushed slightly, still smiling.

Monte smiled. "Making you blush hm?"

"Um...no?" Bradley said, smiling shyly.

"Uh huh," Monte smirked. "Sure I'm not..."

"Never..." Bradley joked, chuckling.

Monte chuckled softly

"See? That's why you can't go..." Bradley said.

"I'm gonna have to for a little while," said Monte. "So you can make sure your hand isn't broken."

"W-Why does that mean you have to go?" Bradley asked. "I don't wanna be alone..." He whimpered.

"It'll nly be for a little bit love," said Monte. "I promise."

Bradley hesitated before slowly nodding. "O-okay..."

"It'll be alright," said Monte. "I'll talk to Dad so you can come stay with me."

Bradley smiled and nodded, hugging Monte tightly before letting him go.

Monte smiled, before going out to the others.

Bradley frowned as Monte left, looking nervous once he was gone.

Lennon looked up from where he was sitting, quickly getting up when he saw Monte, going over to hug him.

"C'mon hun," said Kiara "Let's go check on that hand." Monte hugged Lennon back. "I need to talk to Dad," he said softly.

"O-Okay..." Bradley said quietly.

Lennon nodded and let Monte go, going over to poke Adam, who was half asleep in his chair.

"Don't be scared sugar," said Kiara. "I know Monte would have my head if I let anything happen to you." Monte started to pace.

Bradley gave a small smile and calmed down.

Adam jumped awake as Lennon poked him. "What? Oh, Monte...How is he?"

Monte shook his head. "He's pretty beat up...." he said. "and like I told you would happen, he has nowhere to go....."

Adam frowned, but nodded as he listened. "Oh..." He said, thinking.

"Dad..." Monte said softly. "Could he maybe....come stay with us?"

Adam smiled. "I had a feeling you'd ask that..." He said before nodding.

Monte nodded. "I can't let him go to some shelter or something, he could get hurt."
