Monte nodded. "Cause she's sick?"

"Yeah, because of that." Adam sighed.

Monte nodded, moving closer to Adam.

Adam let go of Sammy with one hand, reaching out to Monte.

Monte moved closer with a smile.

Adam smiled back, putting an arm around Monte's shoulders.

Monte smiled. "Love you daddy."

"Love you Monte." Adam said quietly, leaning over to kiss Monte's head.

Monte sighed. "Mommy stopped saying that a long time ago....."

"Because 'mummy' is a bitch and I never should have left the two of you with her." Adam told him.

Monte chuckled softly. "And she wondered where I learned that word....."

"Sorry..." Adam said, chuckling as well. "Uh...you didn't ever call her that...did you?"

"Only once," said Monte. "but she was drunk so I pretended I didn't know what it meant and she believed me."

"Really?" Adam laughed. "Wow..."

Monte chuckled and nodded

"And here I was thinking she actually was smart in some way...." Adam said, shaking his head, trying not to laugh.

Monte chuckled.

"Sorry, I really shouldn't be insulting her..." Adam mumbled.

"Yes you should," Monte said. "She said bad stuff about you too."

"Did I just hear that right?" Adam asked, raising an eyebrow at Monte. "You're telling me I should insult people...?"

"Not people," said Monte. "Just her.....oh, and Will."

"Oh ok..." Adam chuckled.

"What?" Monte asked innocently.

"The way you said it made it sound like they aren't people in your opinion..." Adam said.

"They're monsters," said Monte. "Evil."
