Pity The Child

Adam gave a small smile, playing with part of Sammy's hair.

"Still tired....." Sammy mumbled.

Adam nodded. "Want us to move...?"

Sammy shook her head. "Keep me company."

"Just don't hog the bed...." Lennon added, sticking his tongue out at Adam.

Sammy chuckled, ruffling Lennon's hair.

Lennon smirked as Adam shook his head.

Sammy shivered softly.

Adam gently pulled Sammy closer, hugging her tightly.

"Cold Addy," Sammy said softly. "Wanna go home....our bed is warm."

"I know...but you can't and neither can Lennon until the doctors say so..." Adam sighed.

Sammy pouted. She could get very childish when she didn't feel well.

"Sorry Sammy..." Adam said quietly, stroking her hair.

Sammy curled closer. "Comfy pillow."

"Not really...but ok." Adam said, continuing to stroke her hair.

"Yes really," said Sammy. "Very comfy pillow."

"Fine then..." Adam chuckled, holding her close.

Monte chuckled. "Silly momma."

Lennon smiled and nodded. "Silly."

Sammy smiled, drowsily pulling Lennon closer. "Teddy bear..."

Lennon grinned, curling up against Sammy. "Silly mama..."

Sammy drifted off.

Adam smiled, wrapping his arms around Sammy's waist.

Monte smiled. "Sleepy momma."

Adam nodded, looking up at Monte. "Yeah...she...gets tired easy sometimes."
