Pity The Child

Almost two hours later, Sammy shook Adam gently. Kiara was waiting in the doorway.

Adam groaned as Sammy shook him, not wanting to get up.

"Baby, you gotta get up. Monte who was now awake nodded. "We gotta go see Len."

"Lennon?" Adam asked, suddenly awake. "Where is he?"

"He's on his way to recovery now, but we're gonna bring him down here to come to so he can be with Sammy," said Kiara.

Adam smiled and nodded, slowly sitting up to hug Sammy and Monte.

Monte smiled, tightly hugging Adam. Sammy smiled, hugging them both

Adam wrapped his arms tightly around Monte and smiled as Sammy hugged them both.

Monte chuckled. "Daddy finally sleep?"

"Yes, I slept." Adam chuckled.

Monte smiled, looking over when Lennon was brought back in. Kiara lowered a rail on each bed and stuck them next to each other.

Adam gently kissed Monte's head before letting him go, figuring he'd want to be closer to his brother.

Monte moved closer to Lennon and took his hand.

Adam watched Monte for a few seconds before moving closer to Sammy.

Sammy smiled at Adam.

Adam smiled back, wrapping his arms around Sammy.

Monte watched Lennon closely.

Lennon was lying still, besides his chest moving as he breathed, fast asleep.

Monte gently squeezed Lennon's hand.

Lennon flinched slightly and shifted in his sleep.

Monte laid down next to his brother.

Lennon relaxed, feeling Monte's warm body next to him and moved slightly closer.

"I'm here Len," said Monte softly. "I'm right here."

"Monte...?" Lennon mumbled, starting to wake up.

Monte smiled. "Right here Len."
