"It's just me Lennon," Sammy said gently. "It's alright." She knew the sudden appearance of Cybele had probably gotten the boy on edge.

Lennon smiled nervously, slowly opening his mouth after reaching out to grab Monte's hand.

Monte smiled, watching Sammy slip the thermometer into his brother's mouth. "I'm right here Len," Monte said softly, moving closer

Sammy smiled when the small machine started to beep. "Alright Lennon, there we go," she said, glancing at the reading on the machine.

Lennon smiled and slowly raised a hand to take the thermometer out of his mouth.

"It's still up there, but it's come down quite a bit from yesterday," said Sammy.

Lennon handed the thermometer to Kiara.

Kiara just shook her head, turning to leave, but pausing when Sammy started to cough, hard.

Adam frowned, but didn't ask anymore about it. He didn't want to explain it to the boys, especially not after what had just happened.

Kiara left, not thinking any more of it. A few minutes later, Sammy started to cough again, she was getting pale, quickly.
