Adam didn't react for a few seconds, looking unsure if he'd really seen what he just had. Eventually he went and gently pushed Will towards the door. "Time to go..." He said.

Cybele rolled her eyes, grabbed Will by the arm and mumbling as she dragged him toward the exit.

Adam shook his head, quickly closing the door. He leaned against it, sighing in relief.

"Seeing as you just got punched in the jaw, I wanted to make sure you're alright," said Sammy.

"Oh...right..." Adam said, slowly coming back over to the bed. "Actually it does kind of hurt..."

Adam got onto the bed, moving to sit beside Sammy.

Lennon sat back next to Monte, hugging him.

Sammy gently ran her fingers along Adam's reddened jaw. Monte smiled up at Lennon. "You got him good."

Adam flinched slightly and pulled a face.

Lennon smiled and laughed. "Well he shouldn't be an ass..."

Sammy gently placed a line of soft kisses along Adam's jaw. Monte made a face. "They're doing it again...."

"Yuck..." Lennon sighed.

Sammy shook her head. "If he'd broken it you wouldn't be able to talk," she said. "We'll get Kiara to get you something to put on it to keep it from swelling and keep the bruising minimal." She smiled softly as she took Adam's hand. "How are you, emotionally?"
