Sammy carefully made her way down the stairs, following Adam.

Lennon whimpered and coughed again.

Adam was carefully putting Monte in the car.

"It's okay sweetie, it's okay," Sammy murmured, taking Lennon out to the car.

Adam gave a small smile as he looked at Sammy, moving out of the way.

Lennon went over to the car, slowly climbing in.

Sammy handed Adam the keys and got into the passenger seat.

Adam got in and quickly started the car and started driving.

Sammy tried to keep an eye on Lennon as they drove.

Adam drove them to the ER a fast as he could, without breaking any laws.

Lennon was curled up, his arms wrapped around himself.

Sammy chewed on her lip nervously. She'd never seen a child so sick before.

Lennon coughed, leaning his head against the window.

Adam parked as close to the ER as possible.

Sammy unbuckled her seat belt, and got out to get Lennon as soon as Adam parked.

Adam went to get Monte, not wanting to wake him up.

Lennon mumbled something, reaching his arms out to Sammy when she came to get him.

"Shhhh, I got you sweetie," said Sammy as she picked Lennon up. "I'm right here, I got you."

Lennon wrapped his arms around Sammy's neck, letting out a sob after coughing.

Adam frowned as he waited for them.

"Shhhh shhhh baby," Sammy soothed gently, carrying Lennon over to Adam and Monte.

Sammy nodded, pulling Lennon in closer, trying to shield him from the cold air as she walked.

Lennon pulled the hood of his jacket up, burying his face against Sammy.

Adam walked ahead, hoping to get a doctor's attention before Sammy bought Lennon in.

Sammy slowly walked toward the ER, not wanting to scare Lennon. One of the nurses at the front desk spotted Adam in the doorway.

Adam walked up to the desk, a concerned look on his face.

The nurse looked up, recognizing Adam from Sammy's chemo session. "Mr. Pascal, is everything alright?"
