A Family Affair

Sammy smiled, watching them.

"Sorry." Lennon said, smiling as Adam relaxed against him.

Aida smiled softly.

Adam faked another cough, making a whining sound afterwards.

Sammy took Adam's hand, squeezing it gently.

"Cold..." Adam pouted, looking up at Sammy.

"It's okay sweetie, you'll be done soon, then you can go back to bed and snuggle under the warm covers," said Sammy.

"Good." Adam said. "I'm cold..."

"I know sweetie," said Sammy.

Lennon frowned, hugging Adam tighter. "Any better?" He asked, smiling when Adam nodded.

Sammy smiled, watching them.

Adam wrapped his arms around himself, looking around the room.

Aida picked up a small laser pointer type penlight and a wooden craft stick from her table, before getting up

"What's the doctor doing...?" Adam asked, looking at Sammy.

"You said your throat hurts," said Sammy. "If you want it to stop, she has to see what's wrong."

"Oh yeah..." Adam said, pouting.

"Adam, don't pout," said Sammy

Adam made an irritated sound, only to end up laughing when Lennon tickled him.

Sammy chuckled. "That's one way to get him to stop."

Lennon smirked, only stopping tickling Adam once he'd unfolded his arms. "That's better." He smiled.

Aida slowly came back over to Adam.

Adam relaxed, not wanting to be tickled again and looked up at Aida.

"Open wide," said Aida.

Adam slowly opened his mouth, leaning his head down so she could see better.

Sammy smiled, watching Aida 'examine' Adam.
