A Family Affair

"U-Uh..." Adam said, staring at her as he thought about it.

Aida flopped down on the couch, folding her arms as she pouted. "Daddy doesn't wanna play..."

Adam watched, trying not to laugh when he realised how similar they were. "Okay, okay..."

Aida's expression changed almost instantly, grinning widely at him. "Really?"

"Yes," Adam laughed. "Really." He said before turning back to Sammy, wrapping his arms around her neck, clinging to her. "Hugs."

Sammy hugged him tightly. "Yes of course, hugs, all the hugs you want."

"Well if we're playing this game, you're my mama. I want hugs." Adam mumbled, burying his face against her shoulder.

Sammy smiled. "Of course sweetie."

Adam smirked, moving closer and hugging Sammy tighter, taking advantage of the fact that he got hugs.

Sammy gently kissed Adam's cheek. ""Y'know, we're gonna have to explain all this again when the other two get home."

"Na-uh." Adam chuckled. "You are. I'm too little..."

Sammy chuckled. "I know, I know."

Adam laughed, kissing Sammy's cheek and hugging her tighter. "I'm tall for my age..." He joked, half singing the words.

Sammy shook her head, giggling softly. "Yes you are."

Adam grinned at Sammy before looking down at Aida.

Aida smiled up at him before sneaking off to her 'office'.

"Where...where's she going?" Adam asked, looking at Sammy.

"Don't worry about it," Sammy said. "Nowhere you need to know about."

"Oh..." Adam said, pouting and folding his arms. "Fine..."

"C'mon now, don't pout," said Sammy.

"I'm allowed." Adam said, pouting more.

"C'mon now Adam....stop it," said Sammy.

Adam shook his head. "Nope."

"Why not?" Sammy asked.

"I'm sick, remember?" Adam chuckled. "I'm allowed to pout."
