Tainted Love

"I know that, why would I mean her?" Bradley asked.

Monte nodded. "I know, I was just sayin."

"I know." Bradley said, shyly kissing hs cheek.

Monte smiled.

Bradley blushed when he looked back up at Sammy before burying his face against Monte's shoulder again.

Monte chuckled softly

Lennon smiled and shook his head, looking up at Sammy afterwards. "Let me guess...dad fell back asleep out there?"

Sammy nodded. "Yep."

Lennon chuckled and shook his head. "Still the same as always..."

"Does he really sleep lots...or is he just being mean?" Bradley asked quietly.

"Dad's work makes him tired a lot," said Monte. "The stress."

"Oh," Bradley said, nodding. "Right, I guess it would make him pretty tired..."

Monte nodded.

"Does he work often...?" Bradley asked quietly, still being shy.

"Eight shows a week, two shows on most the days he works," said Sammy.

"Oh...wow..." Bradley said, looking surprised.

Sammy nodded. "Our business is a very busy one."

"I can tell." Bradley smiled, carefully moving to sit in Monte's lap.

Monte wrapped his arms around Bradley.

Bradley smiled and leaned against Monte.

Lennon smiled at them before getting up to hug Sammy.

Sammy hugged Lennon tightly, brushing his hair back.

Lennon frowned slightly. "He likes it that way..." He mumbled, not really thinking.

"Shhhhhh," said Sammy softly. "He's not here."

"I know that..." Lennon said. "He...he called before..."

Sammy nodded. "How'd that go?"

"Um...he...he was annoyed I hadn't told him what I was doing...he was going to come..." Lennon said nervously.
