Tainted Love

Lennon pulled his phone out, just stopping it from ringing instead of answering it.

"He's gonna be pissed," said Monte

"I know..." Lennon said pulling a face. "Just wait...he'll probably call back any second now..."

Monte sighed. "Lennon, he's never, hurt you has he?"

Lennon went to answer, only for his phone to ring again. "I'll be back..." he sighed, going out of the room to answer it.

Monte nodded. "Kay."

Lennon closed the door behind him once he was out of the room and asnwered his phone. "Trev?"

"Ignoring me now are we Jay?" Trevor asked.

"No, no...I'm not doing that." Lennon said, pulling a face at the name he used. "We're at the hospital...Monte's friend got hurt..."

"And you couldn't take two minutes to text me and let me know?" Trevor asked. "I was worried about you."

"I know, I'm sorry," Lennon said. "I was trying to stop Monte doing something stupid..."

Trevor sighed. "Okay....."

"I have no idea how long they're planning on making me stay here with them." Lennon said. "It's boring here."

"Want me to come pick you up?" Trevor asked.

"Um...probably not such a good idea..." Lennon said.

"Since when do you care?" asked Trevor.

"Since Monte scared the shit outta me..." Lennon mumbled, frowning.

"Candle?" Trevor asked.

"Yes..." Lennon said bitterly, shivering at the thought of it.

"What an ass," said Trevor. "My poor baby."

"I'm fine now..." Lennon said, ignoring the 'ass' comment.

"If you're sure," said Trevor.

"Yes Trev, I'm fine," Lennon said. "Well...as fine as I can be when you aren't around." He added, trying to act as if nothing had changed.

Trevor smiled. "Okay doll, I'll let you get back to your family then," he said. "I love you."

"Okay, I love you too Trev." Lennon said,ending the call. He sighed and leaned against the wall for a few minutes before going back into the room, sitting back in his chair.
