You okay Honey?

"It'll be okay, I promise," said Sammy.

"It better be..." Adam mumbled.

Lennon slowly moved, sliding off the couch.

Monte looked at Lennon, a questioning look in his eyes

"Bathroom..." Lennon mumbled, wandering off down the hallway.

Monte curled up against Adam.

Adam smiled down at Monte, jumping slightly when Lennon squealed, Will trying and failing to not laugh from in the kitchen.

Sammy shook her head.

Lennon came running back from the hallway, quickly climbing back onto Sammy, curling up against her, whimpering.

Sammy wrapped her arms around Lennon. "Shhhhh, it's okay, it's okay."

"He...he put a candle...near the bathroom sink..." Lennon mumbled, whimpering still.

Sammy stroked Lennon's hair. "Shhhhh, it's alright sweetie, I won't let him hurt you."

"St-still scary..." Lennon mumbled.

Sammy nodded. "I know."

Adam sighed and gently moved Monte off his lap, heading down the hall to fix the candle, knowing Lennon wouldn't have touched it or gone near enough to put it out. Once he'd put it out, Adam took the candle to Cybele's room before going into the kitchen, an angry look on his face.

Cybele rolled her eyes. "What's your problem?"

"What do you think?" Adam said, turning to glare at Will. "He already decided to terrify Lennon."

Cybele turned to Will, pretending to be upset with him. "William, what have you done now?"

"I didn't do anything..." Will said, looking innocent.

"Bullshit..." Adam muttered, rolling his eyes. "He left a candle in the bathrrom." He said, frowning.

Cybele folded her arms. "Did you?"

"I...might of..." Will mumbled.

Adam folded his arms, shaking his head. "Might of? Really?"

Cybele shook her head. "William, we talked about this," she said, though her anger at Will was all an act they'd planned hours before. "What did we say about scaring the children, darling?"

"Uh...not to?" Will said, almost forgetting to play along, hanging his head afterwards. "Sorry..."

Cybele grabbed Will's arm roughly, as she would've done Adam when they were together. "You're going to go apologize, understand?"

"O-okay..." Will said, acting nervous.

Adam frowned as he watched.
