Sammy gently kissed Adam's temple.

Adam jumped when he felt something touch him, crying out and whimpering in his sleep.

"Adam baby," said Sammy gently. "It's just me."

Adam curled up tighter, not having heard her.

Sammy shook Adam gently. "Addy?"

Adam jumped again, moving away from Sammy nervously before waking up.

"Adam?" Sammy asked softly.

Adam relaxed slightly when he saw Sammy, a nervous smile on his face as he tried to pretend nothing was wrong.

"You okay baby?" Sammy asked.

"Y-Yeah..." Adam said quietly.

"What is it Bear?" Sammy asked.

"I...um....nightmare..." Adam mumbled.

"You wanna talk about it?" Sammy asked.

Adam whimpered nervously, burying his face against Sammy's shoulder.

"Shhhh," Sammy softly. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't wanna."

"It was...about her..." Adam muttered.

Sammy nodded. "You okay?"

"I...um...I don't know..." Adam said quietly.

Sammy hugged Adam tight. "Just relax, okay?"

Adam nodded and moved closer to Sammy, slowly relaxing.

"I've got you, you're safe," said Sammy.

"I...i know." Adam said, smiling.
